Empatía Wellness

Meet Alejandra Ortiz, LCSW

As a bilingual therapist with roots in Chile, I bring a warm, empathetic approach to my practice. I hold a a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University.

Since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of working with youth and families, specializing in addiction, adolescents, and parental support.

Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about building a relationship where you feel safe to explore, reflect, and grow. I offer both in-person sessions in Houston and virtual sessions across Texas, providing flexibility to meet your needs

Find your empathy within

Providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for healing

I became a clinical social worker because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be real—without pressure, without pretending. Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it is to feel truly seen, especially when life feels heavy or confusing. Empatía Wellness is my way of creating that kind of space—for you to feel supported, understood, and free to grow in your own time.

My Commitment to Accessible Care

Healing should be within everyone’s reach, and financial barriers should not prevent access to quality care. I offer a sliding scale to work with clients on a structure that feels manageable for them. Together, we can find an arrangement that respects both your financial situation and the care you deserve.

“As a colleague, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing Alejandra’s exceptional work with her clients.”
Her ability to create a space where people feel completely safe and open is truly remarkable. Alejandra’s approach is genuine, compassionate, and deeply grounded in authenticity. She has an incredible talent for helping clients navigate their darkest moments with care and clarity. I wholeheartedly refer clients to Alejandra, knowing they will be in the hands of someone who is not only skilled but also deeply committed to their well-being and growth.
